"California, Here I Come"

Retirement?

I sold my French company, "Vin de Californie," and prepared to retire in Palm Springs.

My phone rings. Jess Jackson asks me to join Kendall-Jackson Winery as Eastern Division Sales Manager, based in NYC.

I was later promoted to VP National Sales Manager for Jess's Cambria Winery, and VP Exports/Chain Accounts for Kendall-Jackson.

Retirement delayed..............

Long Island

After my stay at Kendall-Jackson, I accepted separate consulting assignments for 2 Long Island, NY, wineries: Le Reve, in Southampton, South Fork, and Pelligrini in Cutchogue Hamlet, North Fork.

Retirement continues to be delayed...............

Palm Springs Wine Club

I finally retired in Palm Springs, and I created a Wine Club to feature tastings for wine consumers, wine sales representatives, and restaurateurs.

I also conducted educational wine seminars for visiting convention groups.

My dream wine sales career adventure was finally over, but my memories were just beginning.................
